Liesl McConchie is a former math teacher from San Diego, California. With 20 years of experience training school leaders and teachers across the globe, Liesl has partnered with hundreds of schools and districts in understanding the science behind what really improves achievement for all students.
Liesl spent over three years in Denmark learning and working within the Scandinavian school system, known for decades as one of the best in the world. She helped create a brand-new school, True North Efterskole, founded on the most evidence-based pedagogical principles. Liesl continues to travel to Denmark several times a year to deliver trainings to the staff, consult with the leadership team, and provide individual classroom coaching to teachers.
