The authors propose a new approach to pedagogy as the basis for the bold moves that teachers and leaders need to make to engage all learners and prepare them for school and the world. They examine every aspect of K–12 education, including teacher roles, curriculum, instruction, and assessment, as well as the physical and virtual learning spaces that engage 21st century teachers and learners.
